Welcome to 2026 - 2027!

We are excited to welcome students back to school on September 1, 2026.

If your child is starting kindergarten this year, their start date might be different. Please refer to your welcome letter.

2026 - 2027 Registration

For the 2026 - 2027 school year, Richard Secord School is full in:

• all classes in the Cogito program from Kindergarten to Grade 6. We will no longer accept enrollment requests for this program. The 2026 - 2027 Cogito waitlist will close on September 30, 2026. No further students will be accepted into 2026 - 2027 Cogito classes after September 30. 
• Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes in the French Immersion program. We will no longer accept enrollment requests for these grade levels in this program.

If you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online. Please note your child must be residing in Edmonton at the time of registration.
